By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 2: United States secretary of state Antony Blinken held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Deuba and US secretary of state Blinken talked about Russia-Ukraine war.
Sharing about the telephone conversation in his twitter, secretary of state Blinken said that the discussion was about "Russia's unprovoked attack and our support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
Nepal has already objected to Russia's attack on Ukraine.
"We will continue to work closely together on economic development and regional challenges," Blinked said.
The discussion between PM Deuba and US secretary of state Blinken is significant particularly at the backdrop that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact has been recently ratified by Nepal's parliament.
