By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 21: Two COVID-19 patients, a male and a female, undergoing treatment at the Patan Hospital have succumbed to the virus infection.
The two patients who died were in critical condition and referred to the hospital for treatment from outside, according to the Lalitpur District Health Office.
Dr. Khageshwar Gelal, senior health administrator of the Office, informed that both the patients breathed their lasts while under treatment Friday morning.
Of the two, a female, 30, from Dolakha district, passed away at about 4 in the morning. She was admitted to the hospital on August 18.
Another patient who died was a male aged 46 from Sarlahi. He was admitted to the hospital on August 16 and he breathed his last at 5:30 this morning.
