By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 14: The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that two out of three suspected COVID-19 patients, residing at Suncity Apartment, Pepsikola have tested positive for the virus.
The Ministry, through its official Facebook page, informed on Tuesday that 58-year old male and 81-year old female had tested positive for the virus.
"Two out of three members of the family, residing at Suncity Apartment, Pepsikola, who were suspected to have been infected by the virus in Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) have tested positive," informed the Ministry.
The family had returned from London a few days before the lockdown was ordered in Nepal.
The infection of the virus was confirmed using the PCR technique.
The Ministry further stated that the family was staying in home quarantine.
Test of the other residents of the apartment and contact tracing of those who had come in contact with the family have already begun, said the Ministry.
