Out of 47 total cases so far, 9 people have recovered, others under treatment
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 23: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed two new COVID-19 cases.
A 55-year old female from Udaypur and a 14-year old male from Janakpur tested positive for the virus in PCR test carried out at National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL), Kathmandu, informed Dr. Bikash Devkota, spokesperson of the Ministry in the daily press briefing of COVID-19 today.
Likewise, two COVID-19 patients of Suncity Apartment, Pepsicola (81-year old mother and 58-year old son), who had been receiving treatment at Patan Hospital have been discharged after recovery, said Dr. Devkota.
With this, the number of COVID-19 cases in Nepal has reached 47 out of which nine people have been discharged from the hopital after recovering while 38 are receiving treatment at various hospitals.
