By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Apr. 14: Two COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at the Bheri Hospital have succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.
Tej Oli, focal person of District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, informed that those who died are a woman, 69, of Raptisonari-2 and a man, 37, of Lamkichuha-1 in Kailali district.
Both of them were undergoing treatment in the ventilator at the hospital.
He said that there were 30 critical patients of COVID-19 undergoing treatment in the Bheri Hospital and that the hospital was overcrowded with the patients.
Meanwhile, 91 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours in the Banke district, according to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center.
