By Belina Thapa, Lamjung, Dec. 9: Three people have been killed in a jeep accident at Kalimati near Bhusme of Marshyangdi Rural Municipality - 8, Lamjung District. Similarly, six people have been injured.
The Bolero jeep (Ga 1 Ja 6317) heading towards Peace Hill station of ward n. 8 from Simpani of Ward No. 9 met with an accident at around 10:00 am on Thursday.
According to Bishnu Bahadur Nepali, Deputy Inspector of Traffic Police, the jeep carrying teachers and students of Ganesh Secondary School Simpani fell down 150 meters from the road. According to Police, the deceased were Pramisa Gurung of Bhalamchaur and Ganesh Bhandari of Segle of Marshyangdi Rural Municipality - 9. Both were the students of Ganesh Secondary School. Similarly, teacher Kamal Rana, from Kapilvastu has been killed.
The injured have been rescued by locals and police and sent to District Hospital, Lamjung for treatment. It has been said that 12 people were in the jeep.
