By Mukunda Gaire, Kathmandu, Apr. 25: District administration offices (DAOs) of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley have decided to provide only the urgent services and close others for a week starting from Monday in view of the rising infections of the novel coronavirus in the Capital City.
Kali Prasad Rijal, Chief District Office (CDO) of Kathmandu, informed that a joint meeting of the CDOs of the three districts of the valley held today took a decision to this effect.
Services pertinent to security and order related application, processes related to cases and services related to urgent recommendation will continue, according to Parajuli.
However, services related to citizenship, copy of citizenship, minor certificate, passport details and recommendation, renewal of arms, renewal and registration of organization and newspapers will be suspended until further notice.
As many as 1,498 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the last 24 hours in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday.
