By Gokarna Dayal, Baitadi, Feb. 17: A teenager has been arrested on the charges of rape and homicide in Bhagrathi Bhatta's murder case.
Dinesh Bhatta of Dogdakedar Rural Municipality-9, Chadepanilamkatte was arrested at 10:00 pm on Tuesday from his residence for his alleged involvement in Bhagrathi's murder.
According to a source, Bhatta has already confessed that he had raped and killed Bhagrathi while returning from school. Accused Dinesh Bhatta also studied in Sanatan Dharma Secondary School along with Bhagrathi.
Dinesh has given a statement before the police that he had killed Bhagrathi due to a family dispute.
Shivaraj Bhatta, Bhagrathi's relative also said that the Dinesh's acts were suspicious. "Dinesh is younger than Bhagrathi, studies in Grade 11. His behavior had changed suspiciously after the incident," he said.
