Kapilvastu, Mar. 20: Students of a school at Gugauli in Bijayanagar Rural Municipality-1, Kapilvastu, clashed in groups as the dispute over the putting color during the Holi took a nasty turn.
The clash left a teacher and a dozen of police personnel, who tried to disengage the irate students from the clashes, injured.
The police fired three rounds of tear gas to disperse the students.
Dharma Raj Bhandari, deputy superintendent of police, informed that nine police personnel of Nepal Police and three of Armed Police Force got injured while a dozen of computer sets of the schools were damaged as the students pelted stone.
The school premises remained tense for over three hours before the police took the situation under control.
After bringing the school situation under control, the police, the parents and the school administration have started a discussion over the clash.
