By Baburam Sharma, Charikot, Feb 4: The road section of Lamosanghu-Jiri at Kharidhunga area has been disrupted due to the heavy snowfall in the area on Friday afternoon.
Anjan Koirala, police inspector at Dolakha district police office, informed that a pile of snow had covered the road section due to the snowfall. The area had also had snowfall last night as well.
The road has been covered with a two-foot thick snow-pile, which has obstructed the movement of the vehicle.
Vehicles moving to and from Dolakha and Kathmandu have been stuck in the middle of the journey due to the snowfall causing obstruction of the road.
Police inspector Koirala said that efforts were underway to open the road by removing the snow from the road.
