By Tara Chapagain, Kaski, Nov. 20: Seven persoons including a male from Tanahu have succumbed to COVID-19 in Pokhara in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Directorate.
A 71-year male of Pokhara-27 died of COVID-19 while under treatment at Gandaki Medical College on Thursday night. Another male, 54, of Pokhara-8 also succumbed to the infection at 3 am this morning while undergoing treatment at the same Gandaki Medical College.
Similarly, a male, 68, of Pokhara-9 also died from COVID-19 last night while undergoing treatment at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences. He was found infected with COVID-19 just yesterday.
Likewise, 75-year old male of Pokhara-21, 29-year-old male of Pokhara-27, 55-year-old male of Pokhara 13 also succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours, and they were all undergoing treatment at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
A male, 51, from Myagde Rural Municipality-4 in Tanahu district, succumbed to the deadly virus infection this morning. He was under treatment at Gandaki Medical College.
With this, death toll due to COVID-19 in Gandaki Province has reached 138.
