By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 21: Chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have called the central committee meeting of the party separately for tomorrow, Tuesday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, also one of the two chairmen of the NCP, has called the CC meet at Baluwatar at 9 am whereas another chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the former Prime Ministers, has also called the CC meeting for tomorrow itself.
A meeting of the NCP standing committee held on Sunday at Baluwatar had decided to call the CC meeting for Tuesday, according to NCP spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha. Although time and venue of the CC meet called by the Prachanda-led faction of the NCP has not been announced yet.
The two factions of the NCP will be holding CC meet separately.
Following the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) by President Bidya Devi Bhandari as per the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, two chairs of the NCP have called the CC meet separately, which indicates the party is on the verge of a split.
