By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 22: The Supreme Court (SC) has denied the hearing of the case against the tabling of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact in the parliament.
Devendra Dhakal, information officer of the SC, informed that the SC administration rejected the case filed against the tabling of the MCC in the parliament.
Advocate Surendra Bhandari had registered a case against the tabling of the MCC arguing that the MCC could not be presented in the parliament according to the Treaty Act. Bhandari has sought an interim order.
