By TRN Online, Salyan, June 17: As many as 41 COVID-19 patients of Salyan have been discharged after recovering from the virus infection today.
Six COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at Salyan District Hospital and 35 in isolation center set up at Salyan Multiple Campus from age group of three to 60 have been discharged after recovery, said Dr Arjun Budha, chief of the isolation center.
In the second PCR tests of 111 COVID-19 patients admitted to the Salyan District Hospital and isolation center, 41 had tested negative for the virus, added Dr Budha.
Six of the recovered patients are from Darma Rural Municipality and 35 are from Kuvinde Rural Municipality.
With this, as many as 54 people have recovered from the virus infection in Salyan. Previously, 13 people receiving treatment at Corona Hospital, Surkhet, were discharged.
Health condition of all recovered COVID-19 patients is said to be normal.
Meanwhile, Nim Bahadur KC, ward chair of Darma RM, said that all six recovered patients were sent to home quarantine after recovery.
Until now swab test of 3,770 people have been done in Salyan where, 1,882 have tested negative for the virus and 137 have tested positive.
