By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 22: All the regular services, except essential ones, of the government offices accross the nation have been halted from today.
The services in province and district based government offices are closed until April 3 from today, informed Jiba Lal Bhusal, Information Officer, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
Bhusal said that all the governmental services were put on hold in line with the PM’s address to the nation on Friday.
“The government employees, however, need to attend the office regularly,” clarified Bhusal.
Likewise, the District Administration Office (DAO) notified that all of its services except the essential services had been suspended.
Chief District Officer (CDO) of Dhanusa district, Kosh Hari Niraula, said that services such as issuing citizenships, passports, recommendations from ward and local level offices, transferring ownership certificates and so forth were suspended.
The Dhanusa District Administration Office informed about it on Sunday, through a notice.
The works which are carried out through electronic mediums will continue, said CDO Niraula.
Information Officer Bhusal said that the regular governmental services were suspended to avoid the possible spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
