By Our Correspondent, Sarlahi, Feb. 7: Police have intensified search for controversial so-called religious man, popularly known as ‘Buddha Boy’, Ram Bahadur Bomjan, after a court issued an arrest warrant against him on Thursday.
A team from the District Police Office, Sarlahi, reached his hermitage (Ashram) on Friday to nab him after the District Court, Sarlahi, issued the arrest warrant.
A team of the District Police Office reached Pattharkot area of Lalbandi Municipality-12 of the district to nab him, but he was not found there, Area Police Office, Lalbandi, said.
Bomjan was accused of disappearing some of his disciples from the Ashram.
Policemen from the District Police Office and the Area Police Office were deployed in the search and arrest of Bomjan.
When the police team reached his Ashram at Pattharkot this afternoon, police could not find him, except for some of his disciples there, said police.
