By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Feb. 14: Preliminary investigation of the police and the available facts in Sanepa suicide and murder case have established that Muna Karki was murdered by using a rope.

A preliminary forensic lab test has showed that besides being attacked by plastic chair, a rope was fastened around her neck before she was murdered in her own house on February 10. A detailed report of the forensic lab is yet to come, said the police.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tek Prasad Rai, in-charge of Lalitpur Metropolitan Police Range said, “As per the technical details and CCTV footages, Bijay had committed suicide after half an hour of Karki’s murder.”
