Kathmandu, May 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has garlanded the statue of Lord Buddha in the premises of PM’s official residence Baluwatar today. Today is the 2564th Buddha Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha, the apostle of peace.
According to PM’s press advisor Surya Thapa, PM’S spouse Radhika Shakya had accompanied PM Oli.
PM Oli has also appealed to all Nepalis to light the candle at 7:00 pm today in respect of health workers who are combating the COVID-19 in frontline.
