By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepal Communist Party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' jointly held a discussion on current national issues with Sher Bahadur Deuba, president of Nepal Congress, the main opposition party.
According to Surya Thapa, press advisor to the PM, all three leaders stressed on the need of mutual understanding in addressing the ongoing issues of nation.
PM Oli, also NCP chair, had a separate meeting with NC president Deuba before another NCP chair Prachanda joined the discussion.
NC president Deuba also appreciated the government's decision to withdraw both the ordinances which had been authenticated by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on April 20.
Likewise, president Deuba also stressed on the need of expanding Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) at community level and providing Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) and other necessary health equipments to the front line health workers, informed Krishna Prasad Poudel, NC secretary by issuing a press statement.
Deuba also highlighted on the immediate need to relief packages for labourers, unemployed citizens, students and small and big entrepreneurs and rescuing of Nepalis stranded abroad.
