Patan High Court has issued an interim order to stop the construction of Yeti Group’s building at Durbar Marg.
Justice Nahakul Subedi’s single bench issued an interim order today, in response to a writ petition alleging the agreement reached between Nepal Trust and Yeti Group to be wrong.
The court stated that Nepal Trust’s invitation to Thamserku Trekking Private Limited to conclude an agreement on Rs. 6,450,037,994 on March 1,, 2017 and again on April 19, 2017 to conclude the agreement on Rs. 1,592,091,701.31 was against Public Procurement Act and Rule 2007.
The court gave an interim order to carry the work forward in line with the agreement and has called both the parties for discussion on January 15.
The court has also asked Patan Bar Association for two expert advocates for their legal consultation under the admission of amicus curiae.
