By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahu, Dec 17: Ram Nath Mishra of Gallubesi, Byas Municiaplity-1, has been producing organic honey in 60 bee hives of Sorona bee species.
Mishra says that he made seven lakh rupees by selling honey from 50 of the hives last year.
"As people also sell sugar-made honey in the market, I get clients who want pure honey and they even come my home to buy it," said Mishra.
He said he increased bee hives from three to 60 as the number of his clients increased. "I have now planned to increase hives to 100."
Mishra has used a ropani of land for bee farming. Mishra founded Shree Krishna Bee Farm some five years ago and has been running his business under the same firm.
