By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Jul. 1: The fifth meeting of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Standing Committee has been postponed for 11:00 AM on Thursday.
The meeting was postponed although some standing committee members spoke in the meeting held today at Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar. However, the meeting did not discuss on any agenda of the meeting. The meeting was delayed due to prolonged conversation between the two NCP Chairs.
Following some serious discussions in the Standing Committee meeting on Tuesday, NCP Chairmen duo Prime Minister M KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had held conversation with each other on Wednesday morning, informed Bishnu Sapkota, press coordinator of Chairman Prachanda.
Discussions relating to internal unification process of the party and Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) are yet to be held in the meeting.
PM Oli had also consulted with some ministers prior to the meeting.
