By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Nov. 27: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is being held at 1 PM on Saturday. The Secretariat meet held 10 days ago is resuming tomorrow.
In the meeting held on Nov. 18, NCP executive Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' had presented a proposal.
However, the proposal was not called an official one as it was not agreed upon by both the chairpersons.
Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli, who is also another chairman of the ruling NCP, has termed the proposal as a charge sheet.
According to a member of the Secretariat, the meeting will be held at the Prime Ministers’ official residence at Baluwatar at 1 PM on Saturday.
It is said that Chairman Oli will put forward a political proposal at the upcoming secretariat meeting.
According to Surya Thapa, press advisor to PM Oli, the political proposal is ready and will be tabled at tomorrow's meeting.
According to a Baluwatar source, the proposal is oriented towards resolving the party's problems by including the answers to the questions and allegations raised in the proposal presented by Chairman Prachanda earlier.
Chairman Prachanda had submitted a 19-point proposal. He has already sent the proposal to the lower rungs of the party for study.
