By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 16: The Standing Committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to hold another SC meeting on December 20 and postpone the Central Committee meet slated for the same date for December 25.
The meeting also took a unanimous decision to withdraw the ordinance related to Constitutional Council, which was approved by the President just yesterday, and the application for special session of the Parliament as demanded by some NCP lawmakers.
"Today's Standing Committee meeting decided to hold its next meeting on Dec 20 and postpone the central committee meeting for Dec 25," informed NCP spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha after the meeting.
In a unanimous manner, the meeting also decided to withdraw the ordinance pertaining to constitutional council and the application to the President demanding a special session of the parliament, said the NCP spokesperson.
