By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 6: The Standing Committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has kicked off at the party headquarters, Dhumbarahi.
One of the two Chairmen of the NCP, KP Sharma Oli, who is also the Prime Minister, did not attend the meet owing to risk of COVID-19 and health safety measurese as the meeting hall was not wide enough, according to Ram Sharan Bajgain, media expert to PM Oli.
Executive Chairman of the NCP, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' convened the meeting informing the participating leaders about the start of the SC meet.
It is learnt that the reports of both the Chairmen would be distributed to the SC members for study and discussions.
