By Lucky Chaudary, Kathmandu, July 14: Chairmen of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, sat for talks today at the PM’s official residence, Baluwatar.
The meeting lasted for one and a half hours, informed Ram Sharan Bajgain, media expert of the PM.
Prior to this, the Chairmen duo had held a meeting on Wednesday.
It has been expected that the Chairmen would reach a consensus to resolve their intra-party feud prior to the Standing Committee meeting, which has been scheduled after a couple of postponments for July 17.
PM Oli, while addressing the nation on Friday, had said that the intra-party differences would be resolved through talks.
On Saturday, Prachanda had said that he was not for acting in haste and repenting in leisure.
