By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 9: Chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist (NCP) KP Sharma Oli, who is also Prime Minister, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' held a meeting today at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar.
The meeting between the two heads of the ruling party comes amidst intense internal dispute in the party.
According to Ram Sharan Bajgain, media expert to Prime Minister Oli, the chairmen duo held discussion for over an hour and the matter of their talks was ways to solve the internal dispute in the party.
A meeting of the Standing Committee of the NCP was held on December 6 in which two separate reports of the Chairmen were distributed to the members for study. Another meeting of the SC is called for December 13.
The meeting between the two chairmen held today is seen as part of ways to narrow down differences before the upcoming SC meeting and find a solution to the intra-party dispute.
