By TRN Online, Sept. 24: Chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Shrama Oli, also Prime Minister, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' held discussion today at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar.
A meeting of the NCP Secretariat held on Tuesday had given the responsibility of drafting the framework for the remaining work related to the party's organizational unity to the two chairpersons and general secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel.
According to the members of the secretariat of the Chairpersons, the two Chairpersons discussed as per the responsibility assigned by the secretariat meeting.
The talks went on for about four hours, informed Bishnu Sapkota, Chairman Prachanda's press aide.
According to the agenda of the ongoing Secretariat meeting, discussions between the two were expected to focus on the issues to be filled in the constitutional bodies, the remaining work of the party's organizational unity and the reorganization of the Council of Ministers.
The Chairmen were expected to discuss as to when to call the next meeting of the NCP central secretariat.
It has been two years since the then CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Center got unified into the NCP but the process of unity of the sister organizations of the NCP is still going on.
The unification of the two communist parties was declared on May, 17, 2018.
