By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 8: The one-on-one discussion between the Chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', held to resolve the intra-party differences has ended for today.
The talks went on for about an hour, from 5-6 pm at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar, according to Chairman Prachanda's press advisor, Bishnu Sapkota.
He said he had no knowledge about whether the Chairmen duo drew any concrete conclusion for agreement although they held discussion on various options for forging consensus.
NCP leaders are hopeful of an agreement as the one-on-one talk that is going on since Monday between the Chairmen duo is believed to be inching to an agreement.
The NCP Chairmen are expected to reach a concrete agreement by tomorrow as the meeting of the Standing Committee, which has been postponed for many times since it began on June 15, is scheduled for Friday.
