By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 20: Chief whip of the CPN (Maoist Center) in the parliament objected to the inclusion of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact in the business of the parliament without forging a national consensus.
He said so while speaking at the parliament on Sunday.
He said that CPN (Maoist Center) was for tabling the MCC after forging a national consensus and that the same view was put forth in the business advisory committee of the House of Representatives (HoR) today.
The Maoist Center's chief whip made it a point that it was wrong to include MCC in the parliament's agenda while the main opposition was continuing with the protest.
