By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 26: The third and concluding day of Gyalbo Loshar, a significant festival marking new year in Tibetan calendar, was celebrated by the Sherpa communities with various programs at Bouddhanath stupa on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the Himalaya Sherpa Community organised different cultural dances, shows and cosplays reflecting their traditional customs.
Gyalbo Loshar divides the year into 12 animals, which are, hare, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, bird, dog, boar, rat, ox and tiger.
The main day of 2147th Gyalbo Loshar was celebrated by the Sherpa community on Monday, February 24.
