By Muna Hamal, Surkhet, June 21: The Karnali State has recorded 11 more cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, taking the State tally to 1,256.
According to the Health Service Department under Ministry of Social Development, six persons of Salyan, two each of Surkhet and Dailekh and a person of Rukum (West), were identified with COVID-19 in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test done at various laboratories of Surkhet and Dang.
Meanwhile, as many as 14 COVID-19 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus in Karnali State. With this the number of recovered COVID-19 patients in the State has reached 531.
Three COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at Surkhet Provincial Hospital, three at Isolation Center set up in Salyan Multiple Campus, seven at Naumule Isolation Center and one at Jajarkot Hospital were discharged after testing negative for the virus.
Until now, four people of Karnali State have succumbed to COVID-19.
