By Muna Hamal, Surkhet, Nov. 30: Chief Minister of Karnali Province Jeevan Bahadur Shahi is taking a vote of confidence today (Tuesday).
In today's meeting of the Provincial Assembly, Chief Minister Shahi is going to take a vote of confidence. The meeting of the provincial assembly has been called for 1 pm.
There is a constitutional provision that a vote of confidence must be taken within 30 days of being appointed as the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Shahi was appointed as the Chief Minister on November 2 with the support of the three-party alliance. Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat Jib Raj Budhathoki informed that Shahi has an agenda to submit a proposal for a vote of confidence.
