By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 18: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has said it will not join the government for the time being.
Chairmen duo of the JSP, Mahanth Thakur and Upendra Yadav, jointly issued an 8-point statement on Tuesday to make it clear that the party would perform its responsibility by remaining in the opposition and that the party will not participate in the government.
The JSP position has come out amidst speculation that the party would even split over the issue of joining the government as two factions were clearly seen during the vote of confidence for the government as a faction led by Yadav voted against the government while the other faction led by Thakur stayed neutral.
