By Our Correspondent, Jajarkot, Mar. 27: Three remote Rural Municipalities of Jajarkot’s district are connected to the communication service for the first time after Nepal Telecom constructed 2G and 4G towers there.
The newly connected Rural Municipalities are Shivalaya, Junichande and Barekot.
Locals of all the wards of the municipalities, including some wards of Chhedagad Rural Municipality have benefited from the communication facility, said Nepal Telecom Jajarkot.
Ward Chairperson of Barekot Rural Municipality-4 Sirjana Basnet said that the compulsion to go faraway places to make a phone call has now become history.
Chairman of Barekot Rural Municipality Mahendra Shah thanked all those who took the initiative in making the communication facility in the village.
He added that preparations were being made to bring 4G service into operation soon there.
The 4G service has already been rolled out in Junichande and Shivalaya Rural Municipalities.
