By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 26: Foreign Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, has landed in Nepal for a two-day official visit.
In his visit, he will be paying a courtesy call to President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Foreign Minister Pradeep Sharma Gyawali, leaders of the main opposition Nepali Congress and other high-level officials.
He will be visiting his Nepali counterpart, Bharat Raj Poudel, secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
Shringla will also be donating health equipment to Nepal for the COVID-19 response. Both the secretaries will be discussing various projects in with Nepal and India has cooperated.
Shringla's official visit is centered on the preparation of the agendas to be discussed in the meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission
The sixth meeting of the commission led by Foreign Ministers of both nations is going to be held in New Delhi next month.
