By TRN Online, Feb. 11: House of Representatives (HoR) members today drew the government’s attention towards the contemporary issues of the nation.
Member Bimala B.K. urged the government to resolve the problems of flood victims in Banke district. Likewise, member Bhumi Prasad Tripathi called for government’s prompt action on solving land acquisition compensation issues of Nagdhunga-Sisnekhola tunnel road.
Another member Bhairab Bahadur Singh asked the government to uplift the condition of the only highway of Bajhang district.
Min Bahadur Bishwakarma solicited for speedy evacuation of Nepalis residing in Wuhan, China, from where the new coronavirus outbroke.
Also, HoR member Yasodha Gurung said that demolishing Chhau goths (menstrual huts) wasn’t enough to eradicate Chhaupadi practice. Everyone should strive together to eradicate the practice form people’s mindset, she said.
