By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 7: The meeting of House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed for Sunday.
Earlier today, the HoR meet was postponed for 30 minutes after the obstruction by the main opposition party, Nepali Congress.
Stating that the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had prejudicially filed a case of corruption in relation to Lalita Niwas land scam against NC Vice President and former minister, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, the NC had obstructed the House proceedings.
The House was deferred issuing a notice stating that the meet couldn’t be held today due to special reasons.
Opposing the CIAA’s move, the NC had also obstructed the HoR meet on Wednesday.
