By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 23: The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed one positive case of Covid-19 in Nepal.
Organising an urgent press meet at the premises of the Ministry today, Dr. Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson of the Ministry revealed that a 19 year old Nepali female student, who had come to Nepal from France, via Doha Airport on March 17, had tested positive for the virus.
"She was tested positive for the virus yesterday," said Dr. Devkota. "She has been kept in isolation at Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku."
"She had been staying in home quarantine before the test was conducted," he added. "Her family members have also been quarantined."
