By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 14: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed yet another COVID-19 death today.
A 36-year old COVID-19 patient of Gulmi, died on June 13 whilereceiving treatment in isolation set up at Resunga Municipality, Tamghas, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press brief today.
He had tested positive for the virus on May 25 in PCR test done at Rupandehi State Laboratory.
He was also battling from cancer. His travel history revealed that he had returned to Nepal from India, said Dr Gautam.
With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 19 while the case load has spiked to 5,760 including 974 cases of recovery.
