8th General Convention of CPN (Maoist Center): Group discussion over reports
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 29: Groups of representatives formed to discuss the political report presented by party chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' in the ongoing eighth General Convention of the party have started to share the conclusion of their discussion in the closed-door session today.
Coordinators of the 25 groups are also presenting their group views on the draft of the party statute presented by leader Dev Prasad Gurung.
The closed-door session resumed today in the afternoon at the Nepal Academy Hall, the venue of the General Convention of the party.
According to the central publicity department, the presidium of the closed-door session has given 15 minutes to every coordinator of the groups to present the conclusion of their group discussion.
The group leader or the coordinator are asked to put forth their views in writing as well.
Started on Sunday, the five-day-long convention is slated to conclude tomorrow electing a new leadership of the party.
