By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 22: The government has decided to present constitution amendment bill at the House of Representatives (HoR) to implement the newly updated political and administrative map of Nepal.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, decided to table a proposal to amend the coat of arms present in schedule-3 of the constitution as per the territory of Nepal, informed Dr Yuvaraj Khatiwada, spokesperson of the government and Minister for Finance and Communications and Informataion Technology.
Dr. Khatiwada said that constitutional amendment would put the map into effect in all official works of the government.
The new political and administrative map of Nepal includes Kalapani, Lipu Lekh and Limpiyadhura area of west-northern part of Nepal.
