By Janarjan Khatri, Sarlahi, March 27: Four people were killed in a bus accident at Phuljor River Bridge of Sarlahi along the East-West Highway on Sunday noon.
More than 25 people have been injured. The bus (Na 4 Kha 8555) heading for Janakpur from Birgunj fell down from a bridge at Phuljor River on the border of Lalbandi and Ishwarpur municipalities.
According to the locals, injured people were rescued from the accident site and brought to Lalbandi's model and Gadhimai Hospital for treatment.
Four of them were declared dead by the doctors, said Sarlahi Traffic Police Chief Inspector Kedar Man Dong.
