US ambassador to Nepal, Randy Berry, through his tweet today announced that Embassy of the United States in Nepal would be promoting the Visit Nepal Year 2020 (VNY2020) campaign for one month.
Posting his pictures taken in various places of Nepal, ambassador Berry said, “The embassy, with the use of social media platforms, will be promoting tourism in Nepal through pictures and stories of the embassy’s staffs and families travelling across the country.”
“My New Year’s resolution is to visit more places across Nepal,” Berry had tweeted on 31st December, 2019.
Berry said that 78 thousand Americans had visited Nepal during January to October, 2019.
Likewise, ambassador of the people’s republic of China to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, by posting her pictures clicked in Kathmandu on Twitter, had extended her best wishes for VNY2020 two days earlier.
“True beauty always touches the deep heart. Beautiful Nepal with history, diversity and nature deserves a visit,” she had tweeted.
