By Murari Adhikari, Dhading, Apr. 17: A 27-year old man of Amrai, Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-3, Dhading, who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) has tested negative for the virus in test done through PCR technique.
The locals have been elated by the test report of the youth.
He had come to Nepal on March 3 from South Korea. He claimed that he had completed self-quarantine period in Hetauda.
In the initiative of the Rural Municipality, he was kept in isolation in Dhadhing Headquarters on Tuesday night, as soon as he had tested positive for the virus in RDT.
Binod Raj Timalsina, Chairman of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality, said that the report of swab test of the youth done in Kathmandu came out to be negative for COVID-19.
As soon as he tested positive for the virus, his locality was completely been sealed. All the villagers have been happy to hear that he has tested negative for the virus, said Laxmi Aryal, a local.
