CPN (Maoist Center) Central Committee meeting concludes
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 7: The central committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center), a major party in the ruling alliance, has concluded fixing chiefs of different departments, provincial committees and election constituencies committees of the party.
Janardan Sharma, CPN (Maoist Center) leader and also finance minister, informed that the meeting decided to make election programme of the party for the upcoming local level election in addition to naming the chiefs of the thematic departments, provincial as well as constituency level committees of the party.
He said that the next meeting of the central committee to be held soon will fix the names for politburo members, standing committee members and central office-bearers of the party.
Barsha Man Pun, another leader of the party, said that the meeting dwelt on ways to run a two-month-long election campaign with regard to the local level election.
He said the discussion was also held on mobilizing central leaders at the provincial, district and municipal levels for the election campaign.
The next meeting of the party will be held on June 3, after the local level election is over.
