By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 27: As many as 251 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR tests of the 9,156 people conducted in the last 24 hours across the country.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 20 people were found infected with the virus in the antigen tests of 729 people.
The ministry stated that 225 people got over the virus in the same period and that the recovery rate now stands at 97.9 per cent.
Nepal's COVID-19 death tally has reached 11,586 with a person succumbing to the infection in the last 24 hours.
There are 4,931 active cases of the novel coronavirus across the country and that 568,319 people were vaccinated against the virus in the last 24 hours, according to the MoHP.
