By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 31: As many as 224 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR tests of the swabs of 7,885 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11 people were found infected with the virus in the antigen tests of 1,199 people.
Meanwhile, 212 people got over the virus infection whereas four succumbed to the infection, according to the MoHP.
The recovery rate in Nepal stands at 97.9 per cent while the national COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,594 to date.
There are 4,879 active cases of COVID-19 across the country, according to the MoHP, and that 39,151 people were vaccinated against the virus in the last 24 hours.
