By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 28: With 1,380 new cases of novel coronavirus confirmed on Saturday, the national COVID-19 tally has surged to 230,723.
"As many as 1,380 persons were found to have been infected with SARS-CoV-2," informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its update.
Meanwhile, 515 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment institutional isolation or staying in home isolation recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 211,186 cases of recoveries.
Moreover, as many as 19 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours and with this, the national COVID-19 related death tally has reached 1,454.
