By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 3: With 1,343 new cases of novel coronavirus confirmed on Thursday, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 237,589.
"As many as 1,343 persons were found to have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the last 24 hours," informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its update.
Meanwhile, 2,111 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment institutional isolation or staying in home isolation recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 220,272 cases of recoveries.
Moreover, as many as 13 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours and with this, the national COVID-19 related death tally has reached 1,551.
